    • Obituary:
      AXTELL, Sanpete County--Charles Livingston Despain, 90, Axtell, died of causes incident to age, Saturday at 11 p.m. in a Gunnison hospital.

      Born November 8, 1874, Salt Lake City, to Orson A and Jeanet Livingston Despain. Married Lorinda C. Anderson November 24, 1897, Manti LDS Temple. She died July 3, 1961. Retired farmer, merchant, school teacher. Active member LDS Church, former bishop Axtell Ward Ordinance worker, Manti LDS Temple. Served school board, South, North Sanpete School Districts.

      Survivors: sons, daughters, Mrs. Wyroa Larson, Gunnison; Fearon, Clare, both Axtell; Clive , Centerfield; Mrs. Henry (Reva) Sorenson, Redmond; Verl, Salt Lake City; 27 grandchildren, 42 great-grandchildren, five great-great-grandchildren.

      Funeral Wednesday 1 p.m., Axtell LDS Ward Chapel. Friends may call family home Tuesday 6-9 p.m., Wednesday prior to services. Burial, Gunnison Cemetery.
